WTLEB NEWS

On Saturday January 6th, the WTLEB Board of Directors meet in San Angelo. Some of the topics of discussion were number of tissues samples collected, financial report, personnel matters, and the possible obtaining of a vehicle for the use of the Eye Bank.

Looking for a way to serve your community. The local Lions Club may be the answer. Through the club we are able to unite and help many who are seeing impaired, physically disabled and medically challenged.

Lions help provide reabillty training for the blind, hearing impaired and other handicaps. They provide a great camp so those children with physical handicaps or diabetes  can go and be children. Lions provide opportunities for young people to learn about other cultures through the youth exchange program.

Lions provide eye screening and eye glasses for those who are unable to afford them.
